Posting a Session (README)

  • Check out these guidelines on making the most of your session.

  • Sign in to this wiki if you haven't yet and request membership to the Pause[x]London wiki. You won't be able to edit this page until you are registered as a member. If you haven't already submitted a wiki membership request, go here, http://poexlondon2011.wikispaces.com/space/join

  • Have you got your membership to the wiki? If not, look above, otherwise click EDIT toward the top right of this page and type your name and session title into the table below. Add a one or two sentence description: select this text and click the "T" tool in the toolbar, setting the font size to 80%.

  • Next, select the name of your session and Click the LINK button in the toolbar. This will begin the process to create a new wiki page for your session: a session-specific page. Click "Add Link" on that insert link dialog. Then click SAVE to save your changes to this schedule page.

  • Now click on the name of your session to visit your new session-specific page: you'll be told the page doesn't exist: click the link in that warning and your page will be created for you: give it a title, a description, and any comments you want attendees to have read before they get there.

  • Finally, click the Notify tab above and set yourself up for wiki-wide notifications of edits, discussions, etc.

Comments?

  • Click on the session-name link and start a discussion about any topic on it's session page.

Additional Session Ideas

  • If you have a session topic idea but you are not ready to host/moderate/present that topic, see this separate page.
